Students in the Broken Bow area will have an enhanced learning experience thanks to a $7,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

The gift was announced today at the Arvest Bank open house in Broken Bow. Ted Sheets, Deb Fuller, Deby Lawson, Joanna Kelly, Alex Constien, Lou Ann Walker and Sharon Payne of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.

The funds will help the Lukfata Elementary School purchase Chromebooks for the school to improve classroom learning capabilities.

“Lukfata Elementary School would like to thank the Arvest Foundation for its $7,000 grant award for Chromebooks. The Chromebooks will allow for more time on task with our students and help promote technological awareness in our society.” said Kurt W. Neal, superintendent of the Lukfata Public School. “It’s great to have a strong business partner, like Arvest bank, to help support our local schools. We thank you for your help and support.”
